Magyar Telekom/T-Mobile merger approved

Incumbent fixed line operator Magyar Telekom has gained approval to merge with its mobile arm T-Mobile Hungary at an Extraordinary General Meeting held yesterday. The telco’s board is currently preparing the draft valuation balance sheet and inventory, as well as the draft merger agreement, to submit to the General Meeting.
