New president for Anatel

Brazilian telecoms regulator Anatel has announced that board member Plinio Aguiar Junior has taken over from Elifas Chaves Gurgel do Amaral as interim president. A permanent president is not expected to be appointed until 2006 at the earliest, and will need to be approved by congress and appointed by the President.
