TELUS selects Nokia for broadband rollout

TELUS has awarded Nokia a contract for the supply of an IP broadband access network. Under the terms of the deal Nokia will supply its D500 IP DSLAM platform, which is equipped with ADSL2+ technology. TELUS is the largest telecommunications company in Western Canada and the second largest in the country, with annual revenues of CAD7.9 billion, 4.7 million network access lines and 4.1 million wireless customers.
