HTIL could sell Partner stake

Hutchison Telecommunications International (HTIL) has confirmed that it is considering selling its 51.9% stake in Israeli cellco Partner Communications to Matav Cable Systems. Local news reports suggest that the cableco could pay up to USD750 million for the holding. Partner had 2.4 million wireless customers at the end of June, of which 35,000 were connected to its W-CDMA network.
