Telstra’s fixed line revenues in decline

26 Oct 2005

Australian telco Telstra has said that its fixed line revenues are continuing to decline. According to CEO Sol Trujillo, revenues fell by 1.9% in the first half of the 2004/05 financial year ending September 2005, and 5% in the second half. The telco has attributed the decline to increasing migration to mobile services and the use of email. Trujillo said he will release a detailed strategic review of the company in November.
