Saigon Postel to launch VoIP in January

21 Oct 2005

US technology provider Vistula Communications has signed a deal with Vietnamese telco Saigon Postel (SPT) to supply its ‘V-Cube’ VoIP platform for a pilot service to be launched to selected customers in Ho Chi Minh City next month. When the pilot programme is successfully completed, the pair plan to enter into a full contract under which SPT will market Vistula’s VoIP services to its 500,000 business and residential customers across the country. SPT hopes to achieve a full commercial VoIP launch in January 2006.
