Level 3 expands to Poland

Level 3 has expanded its IP network to Warsaw and begun offering wholesale high speed internet access to ISPs, cable operators and carriers. Among Level 3’s new customers in Warsaw are Telekomunikacja Kolejowa and ATM; under the terms of their agreements Level 3 will supply IP transit and access to its extensive international internet backbone. Telekomunickacja Kolejowa operates via a 6,000km fibre-optic backbone running alongside the national railway network. ATM was the first commercial internet services provider in Poland had has rolled out its own fibre-optic infrastructure in Warsaw and an SDH/Ethernet/ATM network.
