Vandals cost Telkom KES400 million

Telkom Kenya has had to spend KES400 million on repairs after vandals meddled with its aerial and underground installations. The telco claims to have lost between KES20 million and KES30 million to vandals in Mombasa alone, where thieves have stolen copper wires, which they then sell to scrap dealers.
