Tele2 says Versatel offer now unconditional

Swedish pan-European alternative telecoms operator Tele2 says its offer for Dutch telco Versatel Telecom International is now unconditional, after it waived a previous stipulation requiring that shareholders representing 95% of the shares must accept the offer. Tele2 says that shareholders representing 77.25% of the Dutch company’s stock have accepted its bid.
