Telstra fails performance tests

7 Oct 2005

Australian incumbent Telstra has failed tests measuring its competence in local call services, according to the regulator the Australian Competition and Consumer Comission (ACCC). The operator has also failed five out of 15 tests conducted to measure performance indicators, and tests for stand-alone ADSL, residential ADSL and voice bundled services and line rental. The ACCC is currently working with the telco to try and fix the problems.
