Centennial reports results

At the end of August 2005 Centennial Communications claimed 592,600 wireless customers in the US and a further 715,000 in the Caribbean. Stateside, the company reported that post-paid customers accounted for 97% of its base, while ARPU rose year-on-year from USD62 to USD65 and the cost of customer acquisition fell from USD347 to USD323. In the Caribbean, subscriber growth was strongest in the Dominican Republic, while operations in Puerto Rico performed less well as a result of higher churn.
