Telcos getting better at repair works

6 Oct 2005

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has released the Telecommunications Performance Monitoring Bulletin, which covers the performance of fixed line operators Telstra, Optus, AAPT and Primus. The bulletin showed that the performance of the four telcos in connecting services and repairing faults within specified timeframes improved during the twelve months to the end of June 2005, with Telstra and Optus consistently completing 90% or more of connections and fault repairs in every state.
