Telia teams up with power companies for municipal broadband

Swedish telco Telia has begun offering broadband services via two municipal core networks in Eskilstuna and Piteå. Homes and businesses in the two cities can now sign up to Telia Bredband Stadsnät (Telia Broadband for Municipal Core Networks), which offers speeds of up to 10Mbps over the networks of power companies Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö and PiteEnergi.
