Nine million mobile users at end August

According to Hungarian telecoms regulator the National Communications Authority (NHH), there were 9.02 million mobile subscribers in the country at the end of August 2005, up from 8.97 million the previous month. Of the total 8.35 million were active customers. T-Mobile Hungary is the largest operator, with a 45.29% market share, while Pannon GSM claimed 34.11% and Vodafone Hungary 20.6%.
