KDDI against NTT W-LAN decision

KDDI has voiced concerns over rival telco NTT’s decision to integrate W-LAN services within its group operations. KDDI said that the move will hinder competition in the market and goes against the law which divided NTT’s operations. NTT last week announced that its regional units, NTT East and NTT West, will launch a mutual roaming service in October, giving W-LAN customers access to the internet even when they are outside their original service areas.
