O2 UK has announced the launch of what it claims is the first 3G-enabled PDA and mobile phone combination handset. The GBP399 (USD730) O2 Xda Exec is being touted by the cellco as a replacement for a more conventional laptop, and features a built-in 62-key QWERTY thumb keyboard and the new Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. Manufactured by Taiwan vendor High-Tech Computer (HTC), the Xda will also be available to users of other networks.
