TIM to implement 90-day prepaid expiry date

12 Sep 2005

TIM Brasil has won a court ruling to stop customers using credit on their prepaid mobile phones after the 90-day expiry date on prepaid cards. Customers will now have to recharge their cards even if they still have credit on them after 90 days or risk their connection being turned off. The decision overturned a ruling by a federal district court last month prohibiting TIM from stopping clients making calls after the three month period.
