New web-based plan for mobile users

9 Sep 2005

Norwegian mobile operator Telenor has launched a new web-based subscription plan aimed at the youth market. Telenor says the ‘djuice allstar’ plan offers a low monthly fee, low calling rates and cheap text and picture messaging. Accounts can be managed online via the djuice website. The package costs NOK29 per month and this includes 50 free text messages. Additional SMS messages cost NOK0.59 each, while voice calls cost NOK0.79 per minute to other mobile phones and NOK1.29 per minute to landlines. Telenor says it has 900,000 subscribers to its existing djuice packages.
