Hutchison 3G Italia (H3G) has announced that is it to begin full-scale trials of 3.5G high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) technology in Rome in October. H3G and its technical partner Siemens will initiate ground trials in the capital next month and Milan in November ahead of a commercial launch in spring 2006.
