CMT to impose cut in termination tariffs

Spain’s telecoms regulator, the Telecommunications Market Commission (CMT), plans to make the country’s operators lower their wireless termination tariffs by up to 14% from October. According to local newspaper Cinco Dias, Telefónica Móviles will be asked to cut its tariffs by 9.5%, Vodafone by 10.5% and Amena by 14.2%.
