25 Aug 2005

Belgian mobile operator Proximus has announced that it will launch a range of 3G services aimed at residential users on 15 September. It plans to introduce video calling, mobile TV and music downloads via its Vodafone live! multimedia portal, as well as five new 3G handsets. The consumer launch follows the introduction of 3G services for business customers in May 2004. Proximus’ UMTS network covers 61% of the population.
