FiberTel expands cable broadband network

Argentine ISP FiberTel has invested ARS4.5 million (USD1.55 million) in rolling out residential broadband services covering 8,100 households in the city of Río IV and expanding its existing coverage in Córdoba. In Río IV, its cable broadband infrastructure now. FiberTel, a subsidiary of CableVisión, has a total client base of around 175,000, and offers a range of packages including ‘Fiber 1 Mega’ for residential users and ‘Professional’, ‘Pyme’ and ‘Corporate’, for the bsiness market. It also offers high speed wireless connections under the brand ‘Fiber Wi-Fi’.
