TDC boosts broadband speeds

Danish telco TDC is set to increase the maximum data speed of its fastest residential ADSL product from 2Mbps to 8Mbps. The company is upgrading its packages in two phases. This month domestic consumers can sign up for an ADSL connection with a download speed of up to 4Mbps, and from October they can opt for the 8Mbps service. Earlier this week TDC announced plans to expand its residential ADSL offering to Norway, Sweden and Finland.
