TDC to enter new consumer broadband markets

Danish telecoms group TDC is planning to enter the residential broadband internet markets in Norway, Sweden and Finland, according to officials at its fixed line division TDC Solutions. TDC is already a significant player in the Nordic corporate broadband sector and acquired the regional networks of Song last year, paving the way for new product launches. It has scheduled a consumer broadband launch in Sweden before the end of 2005.
