Uralsvyazinform hits three million mark

Russian regional cellco Uralsvyazinform says its mobile subscriber based has passed the three million mark, after it added more than a million new users in the first seven months of the year. Uralsvyazinform, a 41.4% owned subsidiary of Svyazinvest, holds GSM-900/1800 licences for the Perm and Sverdlovsk regions. It also offers services through its 90%-owned subsidiary Ermak RMS in the Tyumen region and the Yamalo-Nenetski autonomous district and has a wholly owned subsidiary, South-Urals Cellular Phone, which covers the regions of Chelyabinsk and Kurgan.
