Mobile users reach 76.6 million

According to a report by regulator Anatel, mobile phone customers in Brazil reached 76.6 million at the end of July, up from 75.5 million a month earlier. The total number of net additions in the month stood at 1.061 million, while this figure for the period between January to July stood at 10.973 million. Vivo is the country’s largest operator, with a market share of 37.28%, with TIM taking second place with 22.43% and Claro in third with 21.47%.
