Golden Lines launches local VoB

16 Aug 2005

Israeli ISP Golden Lines 012 has launched a local telephony service using its voice over broadband (VoB) platform. Using the 072 prefix, Golden Lines has an interim ‘experimental’ licence which allows it to provide services to 7,500 customers; the company is currently waiting on the Communications Ministry to issue full licences. Golden Lines will market the new service to its 200,000 existing broadband internet customers, for a minimum monthly fee of ILS19.90.
