AT&T joins the Chinese march

15 Aug 2005

AT&T has joined the growing list of companies moving their Greater China headquarters from Hong Kong to Shanghai to take advantage of lower labour costs and the fast-growing Chinese economy. The new rules have already encouraged the likes of Paris-based broadband internet equipment supplier Alcatel to move to China, with many others following suit to be nearer to their customers.
