SK Telecom (SKT), the largest cellco in South Korea, has lost market share to its smaller rivals during July, thanks to a new ruling which allows customers to switch service providers without changing phone numbers. The operator’s share fell to 51.04% from 51.12% during July alone, while KTF saw its share grow from 32.4% to 32.45% and LG Telecom claimed 16.51%, up from 16.48%.
