ZTE to roll out Pakistan NGN

Chinese equipment vendor ZTE says it has won several contracts to deliver next-generation networking solutions in Pakistan. The Shenzhen-based company increased sales of handsets, base stations, switches, software and broadband networking equipment by 35% in 2004, to USD4.1 billion. Profits surged 50% to around USD186 million, while exports soared 170% to USD1.6 billion.
