Sasktel plans international push

Canadian telco Sasktel is planning to boost its international operations and is currently investigating opportunities in Central America and the Caribbean. According to a report on BNAmericas, Sasktel International president Robert Watson has identified a number of areas for opportunity, including rural telephony and VoIP. Watson said SaskTel is looking in particular at Honduras and Nicaragua in Central America, while in the Caribbean it is eyeing the Antilles and the Cayman Islands.
