Canadian firm wins Trinidad CDMA contract

Canadian telco SaskTel has been awarded a USD103 million contract to design, build and operate a CDMA wireless network by Trinidad & Tobago-based investment group Laqtel, which won a mobile operating licence last month. Laqtel has asked Sasktel to provide additional expertise in sales, marketing, network planning, billing and customer care.
