Nawras to launch EDGE

Oman’s newest mobile operator, Nawras Telecom, has announced the launch of an EDGE service. Nawras, which plans to offer the service as from today, is marketing the high speed data platform to corporate and residential subscribers as ‘three times faster’ than its existing GPRS service.
