IT institute to expand Wi-Fi

Venezuela’s national IT institute CNTI (Centro Nacional de Technologias de Informacion) is to expand its Wi-Fi network from the capital Caracas across to the east and west of the country and has begun the purchase of equipment, according to BNamericas. Earlier this year CNTI launched its first six Wi-Fi zones in Caracas, each with a coverage area of between 100 and 300 metres.
