VoIP on the up and up

5 Jul 2005

Swedish regulator Post & Telestyrelsen (PTS) says that 80,000 households switched from traditional landline phones to VoIP services in 2004, more than double the 38,000 recorded in 2003. PTS says that growth of VoIP is on par with that of broadband and believes the number of homes switching to the service could exceed 200,000 this year.
