Ericsson acquires systems integration unit

Swedish equipment vendor Ericsson has acquired the support systems and networks division of IT services company Teleca. Teleca OSS has around 40 employees and specialises in systems integration in the area of telecom management. Ericsson will continue to support Teleca OSS’ existing customers, but the company’s staff will be amalgamated with Ericsson’s market unit for the Nordic and Baltic region. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
