Saunalahti ends MVNO agreement with TeliaSonera Finland

Saunalahti yesterday informed Sonera Mobile Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of TeliaSonera Finland, of its intention to terminate their mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) agreement in three months time. In seeking a premature cancellation of the agreement, Saunalahti has agreed to pay an early termination fee of around EUR11 million. TeliaSonera Finland says the decision to end its MVNO deal with have an adverse impact on quarterly sales to the tune of SEK150 million (EUR15.8 million).
