Swedish regulator Post & Telestyrelsen (PTS) has ruled that cellco Hi3G Access must cut the prices it charges fixed line incumbent TeliaSonera for calls to its network. Hi3G currently charges TeliaSonera SEK1.21 (USD0.15) a minute and had asked PTS to increase that figure to SEK1.4, but the regulator has said instead that the price should be reduced to SEK0.97. The edict was made retroactively to July 2004, when PTS introduced a new ruling on dominant market operators.
