Start-up UK internet service provider Be is preparing to launch a broadband service capable of downloads of up to 24Mbps – three-times faster than its nearest competitor Bulldog. Through a combination of LLU and ADSL2+ technology Be, a sister company to fledgling Swedish broadband provider Bostream, intends to revolutionise the UK internet access market. Prices for the service have yet to be confirmed, but rollout will begin in London next month, with the rest of the country to follow.
