FT goes Orange

29 Jun 2005

France Télécom has unveiled a plan to re-brand more of its services under the Orange name as part of its new three-year business programme. The operator says that under its NExT (New Experience in Telecom services) programme Orange will become the brand for all its international mobile, broadband and multiplay offerings. The group will also launch a single internet portal covering all services. NExT’s operational objectives by 2008 include: more than twelve million fixed broadband customers (including six million in France); twelve million mobile broadband customers (six million in France and five million in the UK); over a million business clients across Europe; between 5% and 10% of group revenues coming from converged offerings; and two million IP phones in operation.
