DT rolls out hotspot number 5,000

Deutsche Telekom (DT) has announced that it has deployed its 5,000th public WLAN hotspot, at a restaurant in Hamburg. Other recent additions to its WiFi network include twelve railway stations via an agreement with train operator Deutsche Bahn. DT embarked on a nationwide WiFi broadband rollout in late 2003 through its subsidiaries T-Com, T-Mobile and T-Online.
