T-HT told to cut interconnection fees

21 Jun 2005

The Croatian Telecommunication Council has ordered fixed line telco T-HT to reduce its standard interconnection fees by 5% as it seeks to encourage the growth of the market’s newly licensed alternative operators providing services over the incumbent’s PSTN. T-HT has ceded to the regulator’s request, but the pair are set to clash over the Council’s belief that the fees should be reviewed – and effectively lowered – every three months.
