Elion inks Alcatel fibre-to-the-user deal

Estonia’s dominant telco Elion Enterprises has signed a contract with French infrastructure provider Alcatel for the delivery of a fibre-to-the-user (FTTU) solution to provide high speed voice, data/internet and video/TV services. The contract follows Elion’s pilot FTTU service, which ended last month after running since October 2004.
