O2 given last chance to avoid strike action

UK mobile operator could be crippled by strike action unless it reconsiders its ‘final’ pay offer to staff, according to the Communication Workers Union (CWU). The CWU says that O2’s current offer would give its staff no consolidated pay rise for the seventh year in a row and in a statement warned that delegates have unanimously voted to take ‘any action necessary up to and including industrial action in order to receive a fair and just settlement’.
