Belgacom and Versatel talks stonewalled

Following reports last month that Belgacom and Versatel Telecom were in talks regarding a possible strategic partnership, Versatel has announced that discussions between the two telcos have terminated, although it says it is talking to other, unnamed parties about similar plans.
