Slovak Telecom to challenge Antitrust fine

Slovak Telecom (ST) is preparing to fight a EUR22.6 million fine imposed by the Slovak Antitrust Office for its alleged ‘abuse of the dominant market position’. The antitrust body has accused ST of failing to provide its competitors with access to its local loop, although the telco believes that its is not obliged to do so and is awaiting a ruling from the regulator before taking action.
