Cable broadband price cut on the cards

Costa Rican state-owned ISP Rasca is considering cutting the cost of broadband access via cable this week, according to BNamericas. Rasca, which partners monopoly telco ICE to provide residential broadband connections, is looking to boost the subscriber figures of the service, which is offered over the cable networks of Amnet and Cavletica, and currently has 16,000 users.
