Telefónica Germany extends ADSL2+ network; signs resale deal with AOL

Telefónica Germany has rolled out ADSL2+ services in the Bremen and Munich regions, offering download speeds of up to 16Mbps. The alternative fixed line operator also signed its first contract with AOL Germany, allowing the ISP to use the ADSL2+ network to offer internet access to residential customers. In April Telefónica revealed plans to extend its broadband network to 40% of all German households by mid-2006.
