Colombian mobile operator Colombia Móvil (Ola) expects to record positive EBITDA in fiscal 2005, for the first time since launching operations in 2003, according to BNamericas. The company expects EBITDA to reach nearly COP30 billion (USD12.8 million) this year, and is aiming for 20% growth in 2006, he added. Ola generates 98% of its revenues from voice services and 2% from data services. Within a five-year period, it plans to increase its data services turnover to 15% of total revenues. It reported 1.4 million subscribers by the end of 2004.
