Tiscali continues to offload online assets

Tiscali is continuing its exit from non-core operations with the sale of its Excite Italia internet portal to US-based Ask Jeeves for EUR6.1 million in cash. The divestiture of Excite is part of the company’s plans to focus all of its European online activities under the Tiscali brand.
